About

How Daily Issue is run, written, and verified, and what it covers.

Who runs this

Daily Issue is a one-person blog run by Yunsuk Choi, a DevOps engineer who works with cloud infrastructure and deployment automation. The same habit that job requires, verify the facts against primary sources first, shapes how each post here is written. Because outlets cover the same story differently, it is hard for a reader in Korea to see what actually changes for them, and this blog exists to sort that out.

How posts are written

Each topic starts by comparing how several outlets covered it, then checking primary sources such as official announcements and government or institutional material. Instead of restating coverage, the post explains what matters for a Korean reader, keeps sourced facts separate from the editor's interpretation, and links the materials actually consulted. Posts are corrected when an error is found.

Scope and limits

The blog covers travel, health, and tech. Health topics are provided for information only and are not diagnosis or prescription. Decisions about medication, treatment, or testing should go through a qualified professional and official sources, and finance notes are reference only.

Contact and corrections

Typos, factual corrections, and topic suggestions are all welcome. Email [email protected] and it will be reviewed and fixed promptly.
